My fourth poetry collection, Terciopelo Suicida, brings together 43 lyrical poems, four of them in English. This collection was published in 2012, just one year after my third book. Its prologue was written by a dear friend, and it is dedicated to all those who love, as I do. Within its verses, I continue to express my struggle with the reality of living with HIV and the escapades of many men, while also exploring guilt, self-exile, and, once again, romance. In this collection, my emotional exhaustion becomes more palpable.
Mi cuarto poemario, Terciopelo Suicida, reúne 43 poemas líricos, cuatro de ellos en inglés. Esta colección fue publicada en 2012, apenas un año después de mi tercer libro. Su prólogo fue escrito por un gran amigo y está dedicada a todos aquellos que aman, como yo. Entre sus versos continúo expresando mi lucha con la realidad de vivir con VIH y las travesuras de muchos hombres, mientras exploro también la culpa, el autoexilio y, una vez más, el romance. En esta colección se hace más palpable mi cansancio emocional.
